David Silver MORE AIR is really fun to play, and also was the main reason we solved global warming. Favorite track: More Air.

about

Pay what you want.
Originally recorded in 1992, released on 2.22.2022 for post-hardcore prog math rock fans of angular experimental music. Bonus track recorded by Steve Albini.

ELECTRONIC. AUDIO. RITUAL. SYSTEM.
HARMONIC. OSCILLATION. TEAM.

2.22.2022 by EARSHOT was recorded after two years of songwriting, during a week living in the studio with two drum sets, two guitars, too much craziness; with Chi singing, Erik Carter on bass, Jon Berger and Craig Adams on guitar, and David Silver and Wally Blanchard playing drums and samples.

Equal parts math rock, noise, post-hardcore, prog, performance art and some heavy metal, the band played weekly shows all over New England, Boston, Providence, Western MA, and toured down the East coast and twice through the midwest. EARSHOT played shows with Unsane, Shiv, Holy Cow, Glazed Baby, Iowa Beef Experience, Alice Donut, Crash Worship, Chumbawumba, Piewagon, Ed Hall, Dagobah, Cher UK, King Missile, Seven League Boots, Apunkalypse Now, Milkworm, The Freeze, Green Day's first tour, Green Magnet School.

EARSHOT formed as punk rock-loving friends and bandmates in high school, gradually morphing from prior bands Crash Course, Obscure, House of Whipcord, Sleestak, Tripp Lullaby and The Flamies Go To Hagville in 1989 into a band unlike any other in the area. Nick Curtis played electronics in live shows in 91-92.

Earshot brought regional and national bands to local rental halls and the Googleplex rehearsal space to expand the consciousness of the Cape Cod hardcore punk scene! I Am You Are Me.
